Candi is the beginning of Mojo Akitas.  She was our first Akita, first show dog and produced the first litter that we ever bred.  She has taught us so much about the breed and I learned how to show a dog with her.

Candi is a big girl standing over 27” tall but yet so light on her feet.  A super sound mover with a perfect topline, big side gait and a super clean down and back. She is the sweetest girl with a tried and true temperament and fortunately for us has passed on these wonderful traits to her children.

Candi’s first litter produced 4 lovely puppies, one of which is our first homebred champion, CH. Mojo’s Moonlight Over Maui “Zeus”. Her second litter produced 5 puppies with 4 of them easily becoming champions thus earning her the highly respected title of Register Of Merit (ROM)!  Out of this last litter came America’s #1 Akita All Systems in 2009, Multiple Best In Show Winning GCH. Mojo’s Rock’N Your World “Coupe”!

Candi was shown owner handled on a limited basis until her show career was cut short due to a leg injury. She retired at 9 points with a major towards her American championship but what she has contributed to our breeding program is worth more than any title. Candi is my heart dog and spends her days by my side and playing with our puppies. Still going strong at 10 ½ years old, we treasure everyday with her.
